Hand-Woven Turkish Kilim

The kilim bags are
hand-woven by the nomadic artisans of the Anatolia region of
Turkey. Each design tells a story, some dating back more than
1,000 years, passed on through the generations from mother to
daughter. The wool is obtained from the sheep and dyed with
natural dyes derived from trees, plants, and mud which gives
kilims the rich browns, reds, greens, and blues. This kilim bag
has two pockets; one on each side. It may be used as a bag or
wall hanging. Lenght 23", width 15". |
